I spoke with my Dad the other day and he asked me if I could make him a cross. You see, not too long before this he experienced chest pains and numbness in his left arm, which we all know what that can be a sign of. His birthday is coming up on May 28th and this is what he wanted. I thought about what type of cross and what word(s) I could embellish it with… and this is what I came up with. A simple imperfect, yet just right brass cross with the word “Strength” hand stamped down the front and two small sterling silver wings, one on each side. The wings represent both angels and my Dad is a pilot. The last image is the etching bath that I use to etch “for Dad, Love Sue” on the back. I hope he likes it.
Note: Yes, he has seen his doctor, but he thought a little extra something wouldn’t hurt.
